Hey! Welcome to Lovejoy. Since our Journals page is finally up and running, I'd like to take some time to introduce myself. I'm Ceres. I write fiction, primarily, but I started a small newspaper when I was nine and I think that's enough to forecast my future (present) as an aspiring journalist.

Now, I love a good article as much as the next guy, but I won't make it past the tenth word if the piece isn't interesting. Have you ever been out in an apple orchard and you try to bite into an apple but it's festering? And all the other apples are like that. Except for maybe five that don't appear to be rotten just yet. At Lovejoy, writers are apples. We want the spoiled ones. That's where the interesting content comes from. Thinking inside the box never got anyone anywhere, and, to be frank, only the dead have witnessed Hell. You get what I mean. Lovejoy wants rejects.

In my opinion, creativity is generated when you don't know what the dick you're doing. Wander. Get lost. Then come back and show the world what you found. There are no limits.
